Cameron and Sandra invite you to the foothills of the Spectacular Grampians National Park for a unique riding experience.

Pristine views, fit horses, and an exceptional quality of service has distinguished The Grampians Horse Riding Centre for 36 years.

We supply proven quality horses to suit all levels, from nervous beginners to intermediate and advanced equestrians.

Most of our rides are private, which means that group sizes are kept to a maximum of 5 riders.

This provides for safer and more enjoyable riding, with plenty of tips and information given along the way.

Our facilities are first class, they include day stalls and hundreds of acres of riding country.

MORE THAN A RIDING SCHOOL

You are invited to ride the McDonald family's personal horses, comprising of 22 quality hacks, highly trained and educated to carry you over 900 acres of ultimate playground for horse and rider.

Open plains and dense forest provide plenty of opportunity for experienced riders to stretch their legs, while novices are given a comprehensive lesson and are kept under the watchful eye of the guides.

This is not a "train" thing, rather an enjoyable session in horsemanship.

We are open 7 days a week. Office hours: 7am - 8pm. Book ahead for weekends and school holidays

Maximum group of 5 riders per tour

Horse Riding Age Limit: 12 years to 55 years *

Weight limit: 90kgs**

Payment: $200.00 AUD per person

Cash or Bank transfer only (No Eftpos or credit facilities)

DO NOT WEAR SHORTS OR OPEN-TOED SHOES

Accommodation is available in the area, please ask Cameron or Sandra for details.

* Due to Insurance reasons, we cannot carry riders under 12, nor over 55 years of age, other riding schools may have different limitations.

**For horse health reasons we are unable to carry riders over 90kgs. You may be weighed for complete safety.
